Fluorite with Quartz and Galena

A stunningly sharp cluster of deep purple cubes to 2.3cm with the only point of contact being a ridge along the top. Close examination reveals this area as partially healed, as the separation planes are not uniform but haphazardly striated with the striations being along different planes. Most unusual is the quartz AND galena along with small sphalerites. The quality of this piece is top notch. Ex Ben Clement collection (Kentucky fluor-spar business magnate). The bulk of Mr. Clements collection resides in the Ben Clement Mineral Museum.
