Prehnite and Calcite

This piece gets better and better as you examine it. The calcite cleavages surrounding the mass of prehnite act as a framework. The exquisite mamillary form of the prehnites form a natural valley in which mounds of pale amber calcites are nestled. Collected by Buck Keller. Ex George Loud
