Rhodochrosite coated with Quartz

Exquisite piece featuring two central orange scalenohedra to 1.2cm  with some smaller satellite crystals perched on a matrix covered with white quartz and spherules of soft pink rhodochrosite. The whole is washed with a coating of sugary drusy quartz including, unusually, both habits of rhodochrosite.  From the Dr. W S Logan collection.
