Tetrahedrite coated Chalcopyrite with Pyrite and Quartz

Large (3cm) blocky twinned Chalcopyrites centered on a Sphalerite and Pyrite matrix with minor Quartz. The Chalcopyrites are mostly coated with small Tetrahedrite crystals and dust. Several small Pyrite cubes adorn. The Animon Mine has produced significant specimens since the 1980’s, with the last notable specimens coming out in 2007. Terrific combination. Ex Mike Wortham
