The JC Holmes claim was explored in the 1950s by Dick Jones, and later by Arizona collectors in 1982. They found distinctive Vanadinites in colors from yellow to orange to red with prominent bipyramidal faces sloping upwards to the terminations. This specimen exhibits that habit so likely came out in that time period. Coverage on all sides of the pseudo-scalenohedral shaped matrix. Ex Mike Wortham
