Pyrrhotite with Calcite

It was very difficult to photograph this specimen and it is so very good in hand. The brassyness just does not come through in the photos. A series of platy, wafer thin crystals in a butterfly-like arrangement with incredible growth features on the faces. All the crystals are complete. A bit of Sphalerite and a single Calcite accent. Contact limited to the bottom and back. Highly recommended. Ex Mike Wortham
