Barite

Dirtlow Rake was a prolific producer of specimens when it was being worked for fluorite and barites in the 1970’s and 1980’s. This pink “spungiform” specimen appears to have small pyrites or such sprinkled about the surface but close inspection reveals they are all tiny cavities.
