Beryl var Aquamarine with Schorl
$170.00

This specimen gets a solid 9 out of 10 for being cool. It is completely glassy, from bottom to top. The first two thirds is zoned a milky soft blue. It then zones to gem clear. The most fascinating feature is the fact that the aqua completely envelopes (except the top) what was once a schorl. The schorl must have broken in situ, as the remaining portions within the void where it once was has terminal faces. One of the best value pieces I managed to find, and being kept under $200!!!!
