Calcite var Manganoan
$200.00
Availability: 1 in stock
I bought this specimen during my trip to SA/Namibia in 2006. It likely came out in the 1970’s, Similar in appearance to the Kutnohorites from this area, the mangano calcites fluoresce intensly while Kutnohorite does not. A lovely pink color with a chalky luster and complex form. If not for having another, similar one this would be a keeper.
