Calcite with Gyrolite and Apophyllite

I purchased this piece from Arkenstone when they had acquired  a good part of the Mary and Gardner Miller calcite collection in 2000. The termination of the calcite is bizarre. It is nearly rounded, but close examination reveals growth striations indicating the trigonal axis. It i ringed by snow white gyrolites and sprinkled with clear apophyllites to .7cm. Comes with the curated M&G Miller label.
