Under the Moorlight Mining Company the mine became active in 1918. In 1968 it came under Taylor-Knapp management. The site remains an abandoned historical mineral locality known to collectors for rare fluorite and rhodochrosite specimens. Bubbly pink Rhodochrosite covers a large part of the surface with embedded purple Fluorites. Small spherical clusters of Fluorite are also scattered along the bottom of the specimen. It has a Dr WS Logan number on it. Ex Mike Wortham
