Siderite var Spharosiderite (?)

A large plate of quartz matrix hosts dozens of tan “shaving brush” crystal bundles. This came to me as the variety “spharosiderite” but I question it as that variety tends to be compact botroidal spherical masses, and these bloom into somewhat spherical acicular aggregations. Nevertheless, I was drawn to it due to its organic architecture. In very good condition. The lighter areas in no way appear abraded.
