A very aesthetic sculptural specimen consisting of a calcite shelf on which stacks of  small (to 1.1cm) scalenohedrons formed which were then coated by iridescent chalcopyrite. On one corner additional calcites formed, which were twinned. The largest crystal cleaved at the back upon removal. A very attractive specimen.

Locality: Fengjiashan Mine (Daye Copper Mine), Daye Co., Huangshi Prefecture, Hubei Province, China.

Composition: calcium carbonate and copper iron sulfide
